FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Will I be able to hear DZFE over the
Internet? _______
Not currently. This has to do with copyright constraints.
Terrestrial broadcast is considered separately from
disseminating material digitally through an Internet stream
and requires the payment of additional performance
royalties.
Can you dub me copies of some of the audio I hear on DZFE?
No. This constitutes a copyright infringement. We understand
that not everything we play can be found at local retailers;
we encourage you to source the item from online sellers.
Can I receive a playlist of all the music I heard on a
particular day?
Not presently while the staff is extremely lean and there
are more critical aspects of running the station that demand
attention.
We encourage you to call the station to inquire about a
piece of music.
In general, the demand for playlists is negligible. We have
found that the spikes in demand are usually caused by
students who have been required by their teachers to listen
to the broadcast and are seeking to shortcut listening or
jotting down what they heard. Then there are the requests
coming from the parents of these students. Students and
parents, we recommend that you record the programs you are
required to review.
How many people listen to DZFE?
We hesitate to give any sort of ballpark figure. The only
way to arrive at a reliable figure would be through a
census. Given the size and demographics of our mega-city,
the content we offer, and the general aloofness of our
listeners, conducting a census would be both difficult and
costly. DZFE does not currently have the resources to mount
such a census. The more thorough censuses and surveys that
are available in the industry are usually geared toward
commercial outlets and their audiences.
That said, we have become familiar with the colorful variety
of people that listen to our broadcast. Find out more about
who listens and
what they say.
Which religious group is DZFE affiliated
with?
DZFE is not affiliated with any one religious group. It is
owned and managed by Far East Broadcasting Company, an
extradenominational radio ministry enterprise which exists
solely to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world by
radio. In order to present this message with integrity, FEBC
holds its activities and collaborations in alignment with
following truths of the Bible.
We
believe:
-
The Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible,
Authoritative Word of God.
-
That there is one God, eternally existent in three persons:
Father,
Son, and Holy Spirit.
-
In
the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless
life, in His
miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death
through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the
right hand of the Father, and that He will personally return in
power and glory.
-
That for the salvation of lost and sinful men and women,
regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
-
In
the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling
the
Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
-
In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they
that are
saved into the resurrection of life, and they that are
lost into the
resurrection of damnation.
-
In the spiritual unity of believers in Christ.

What do you mean by the
Gospel? _
The Gospel (or “Good News”), revealed in the Bible, refers
to the rich totality of God’s plan to redeem a world severed
from His fellowship by the ravages of sin.
The fulcrum of the Gospel is God’s son, Jesus Christ, who,
alone in his perfect sinlessness and obedience, qualified to
pay the lethal penalty of sin on behalf of all men across
the ages. Christ completed his Father’s mission by
vanquishing Death utterly at his resurrection.
The full manifestation of God’s comprehensive plan of
redemption and judgment awaits its appointed time.
As it draws inexorably closer, God addresses the Gospel
invitation to every individual:
In His liberality and love, unwilling that any should
perish, Holy and Sovereign God has forged our only Way of
escape through the singular, all-sufficient work of Christ.
Each individual, while he lives, must decide for himself
whether or not he will choose this Way. The price of passage
is faith in Christ, validated by a life of humility,
faithful obedience to the Word of God, and the indwelling of
God’s Holy Spirit.
Outside of Christ is death. The Good News is that in Christ,
there is forgiveness of sin, life in God and an eternity of
glorious fellowship with Him.
