The Bible: Not A Self-Help Book

“How to read your Bible?” The WHITE HORSE INN (Sun 800, Tue 140, Fri 200) continues the series this December. Covenant Theology is explored as a crucial lens for overall understanding of Scripture, the week of December 8. Following that, on December 15, the hosts explore the different literary genres represented by the books of the Bible, and how to interpret them accordingly. The year closes with two programs — “The Top Ten Rules of Interpretation.” Find out what’s wrong with seeing the Bible as a mere self-help book.
