With all our artists performing from their homes, what better way to mark our 66th Anniversary than with an intimate soiree?
Join us for TO MUSIC, a 66th Anniversary soiree series bringing together several artists who have featured on DZFE, in a collage of home performances. Including well-known figures of the Filipino classical community such as soprano Rachelle Gerodias, cellist Renato Lucas, pianist Aries Caces, violin-piano duo Gina Medina and Mary Anne Espina and organist AJ Consolacion II, to younger groups such as the Ripieno Ensemble and Pasipo; as well as a diversity of forces, from solo harp to solo guitar, to piano duet, cello ensemble, and even a performance from the Simon Tan Jazz Trio, TO MUSIC taps into the age-old spirit of domestic music-making: No bright lights—just a thoughtful and generous celebration of “the blessed art”.
TO MUSIC is in four parts beginning (as part of FEBC Philippines’ own 72nd Anniversary celebrations) on June 5 (Fri 1900). The video counterpart of each program premieres on our YouTube channel immediately following. Subsequent episodes will be presented June 8 (Mon 1900), June 10 (Wed 1900), and June 12 (Fri 1900).
