The world of opera and four-hand piano music come together in a unique chamber music concert. Four Hands at the Opera features music by the four most famous Italian opera composers of the 19th century — Rossini, Donizetti, Verdi and Puccini — in four-hand piano arrangements. Performing is the Italian Pianistic Duo, comprising pianists Luciano Bellini and Antonella Vitelli. The program also includes a rare outing of Giuseppe Verdi’s two known pieces for solo piano, a Romance and Waltz.

All the arrangements are by Luciano Bellini, who is also a composer and conductor of the orchestra Nova Philharmonia.

Four Hands at the Opera is mounted for the benefit of the PIA Endowment Fund.
