The WFMT Radio Network Opera Series debuts its sixth season on 98.7 DZFE! The weekend matinée broadcasts (Sat 1300) will take us up to the cusp of the Advent season. Anniversaries are a natural time for transitions, and in our 68th Anniversary month of June, a set of changes to our program schedule take effect concomitant with several valedictions taking effect mid-year.  Seven years after presenter and producer Fred Flaxman’s passing in 2015, COMPACT DISCOVERIES is finally concluding its run.
